~TATCHA Aburatorigami Review~

Hey everyone!

This is a review on the TATCHA Aburatorigami Japanese Blotting Papers!

To tell the truth, since I have watched “Memoirs of a Geisha”, I have been fascinated by Japanese culture, and the beauty of the Geisha. So when I found Tatcha Aburatorigami Japanese Blotting Papers, I just had to try them!

Here is the insert from the packaging. Consider the geisha. With her flawless porcelain skin, she has endured as an icon of Japanese beauty for more than 300 years. The secret of her allure? Special handmade papers used by gold craftsmen to protect the precious metal they hammered into whisper-thin leafing to enrobe the majestic pavilions of Imperial Japan. Their gold-leaf artistry transformed the paper into Aburatorigami, an incredibly soft, strong and absorbent leaflet ideal for removing excess oils from delicate skin. Just how our Geisha discovered that this precious by-product of the artisan’s alchemy could help create a perfect canvas for her makeup and keep her skin petal fresh throughout the night remains a mystery, but the benefits of her ancient beauty secret remain unsurpassed to this day.

In more recent times, the cosmetic industry has discovered that the abaca leaf has nutritional enzymes with fatty acids, which are regenerative with moisturizing properties that are unrivaled. The abaca leaf has also been proven to have a naturally therapeutic effect for conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.

You’re asking by now does it work. Yes! These wonderful blotting papers are a miracle! My eczema prone sensitive skin cleared after the first use! I no longer have redness or rashes on my cheeks! I am 100% sold on these irreplaceable blotting papers! In fact, I just ordered 12 packs of Tatcha Aburatorigami Japanese blotting paper because my skin is worth the cost!

Even if you do not suffer from eczema or psoriasis, these 100% natural earth friendly blotting papers easily remove excess oil from skin, without disturbing makeup or irritation. Not to mention, Tatcha handmade blotting papers are fragrance-free, powder-free, and oil free!

The packaging for TATCHA Blotting Papers is as unique as the product itself! Each pack contains 30 (3.74" x 3.74") sheets, and fits easily into a purse or cosmetic bag.

This product retails for $12.00 each!
