Hey everyone!

My Mom grows her own Blackberries, so we decided to try this recipe out for Blackberry Buckle!

Ingredients:
~2 Cups Blackberries
~1 Cup Self-Rising Flour
~1 Cup White Sugar
~1 Cup Milk
~3/4 Stick Butter
~1/4 Cup Brown Sugar

Directions:
~Make sure blackberries have been washed and dried.
~Use part of the 3/4 Stick Butter to butter your Baking Dishes. Melt the remaining Butter.
~Shift 1 Cup Flour and 1 Cup Sugar together.
~Add 1 Cup Milk and 3/4 Stick Melted Butter to Flour and Sugar. Mix together.
~Pour Mixture into (2) 8X8 Baking Dishes or (1) 9X13 Baking Dish.
~Evenly place Blackberries on top of the mixture.
~Sprinkle 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar over the Blackberries.
~Preheat oven to 350 degrees, and let bake from 45 minutes to an hour.
~Optional: Sprinkle 1 Teaspoon Sugar over top 10 minutes before done.

Your Blackberry Buckle looks yummy! I remember when my brothers and I used to pick wild blackberries that grew along the tracks for our grandma, so she could make a fresh cobbler.
