Smashbox Photo Set Pressed Powder Review

Hey everyone!

This is a review on Smashbox Cosmetics’ Photo Set Pressed Powder in the shade Light!

Here’s a bit of information on the newest member in the Smashbox Cosmetics line of makeup. The glare of studio lights and long hours on set make touch ups essential to keeping skin looking fresh and flawless. This creamy formula infused with micronized pigments and anti-aging vitamins E & C provides lightweight coverage that minimizes imperfections while keeping skin looking natural and smooth. This mirrored compact includes a specialty designed sponge for optimal sheer powder pick up.

I love how Smashbox Cosmetics’ Photo Set Pressed Powder goes on flawlessly without caking or creasing. Its sheer non-glossy coverage leaves my complexion refreshingly baby soft with flattering even tones throughout the day. The formulated oil absorbing pressed powder works best to conceal unwanted lines and blemishes, set liquid foundations, and reduce shine by leaving my skin matted.

The large mirror inside the sleek packaging is a great added bonus when occasional touch ups are needed on the go.

Beauty Tip:

The sponge included in the compact is specially designed for ideal powder pick-up and optimal sheer application. Using a light patting motion, apply all over face for a smooth, even complexion.

This product retails for $29.00!

Pros:
~Sleek packaging
~Large mirror
~Easy to apply and blend
~Paraben free

Cons:
~Flimsy applicator
~A bit pricey

Overall, I rate this product at 4 out of 5 sugarcubes! Lady Sugarsheen says, “A shiny lure may be a fisherman’s best friend; however, a shiny nose is a girl’s worst enemy”.

XoXo,
Whitney
