Shower Responsibly with Soap & Glory's 2 Minute Rinse and Clean Girls Body Wash

Hey everyone!

Earth Day is on April 22! Get ready to do your part to help our planet, by conserving water with Soap & Glory's 2 Minute Rinse!

Soap & Glory sells an awful lot of shower gel. So when a sustainability expert said that we would be facing a water shortage in the not so distant future, Soap & Glory decided it was time to use the shower responsibly (the average shower uses 2.51 gallons of water per minute.) They got out a stopwatch, worked through the kinks, and calculated that you only need 2 minutes of running water to get washed, shampooed, conditioned, and rinsed!

Here's how you do the Soap & Glory 2 Minute Rinse:
-Step 1: Start with 40 seconds of running water to warm up and get wet, then turn off the tap.
-Step 2: Work shampoo into hair, lather body with shower gel, rinse for another 40 seconds before turning the tap off.
-Step 3: Finally, massage in hair conditioner, scrub your feet with a brush, rinse for the last 40 seconds, turn off the tap and your done!

Save the earth and have some fun doing Soap & Glory's Clean Girls Body Wash Challenge!  You'll be pampering yourself as this body wash softens and soothes your skin with its natural vanilla fruit, orchid extracts, and built-in moisturizing matrix. Lightly scented with the Mist You Madly fragrance of bergamot, black currant, magnolia, freesia, vanilla, and musk. Its a great start to a new routine!

Great post! I've never thought of doing a 2 Minute Shower, but I'm going to try it for Earth Day! That body wash sounds great, and I will probably pick it up next time I'm in the store!

I genuinely don't think I could shower that quickly, plus as a trained hair stylist I know for a fact you wouldn't get all of the product from the shampoo and conditioner out in 40 seconds of rinsing... xo

I'm going to try this tomorrow! It would be great if I could shorten my shower time, so I could have more time for makeup in the morning!

Happy Earth Day, Whitney! We didn't have any Soap & Glory's Clean Girls Body Wash, but our family still took the Body Wash Challenge! Us girls cheated a little, because we used sprayed in conditioner after our showers! To celebrate Earth Day, we didn't stop there, we turned off the water when we brushed our teeth. Plus, we didn't use a hair dryer. Not only that, we turned off our air today, and did not use the stove. We're relaxing at home, and enjoying some down time! In fact, everyone in the house is taking a nap, and I'm about to join them!

Hi Tattooed Tealady!

I don't condition my hair everyday, so this works out for me nicely!
