TATCHA's New Water Collection

Hey everyone!

I love to try new products, and I love it even more, when those new products improve my skin! My skin has finally started to get back to normal, after a rough patch the past couple of months. Recently, the lovely girls at TATCHA sent me their new Water Collection! First off, let's just take a minute to admire the beautiful packaging that they housed these items in. TATCHA is always amazing me with their attention to detail!

I received their Luminous Deep Hydration Revitalizing Eye Mask and Luminous Deep Hydration Firming Serum to try and review for you all!

I love how their serum (like many of their other products) came housed in a beautiful wood inspired box with a pull out drawer. Talk about amazing detail, I felt like I was unwrapping an elegant present!

Luminous Deep Hydration Firming Serum

This intense hydration provides an immediate firming effect and can be mixed with foundation for glowing skin. Participants of a two-week clinical study reported skin felt smoother and firmer, and reduced appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The 23-karat gold dust suspended within lends skin a lit-from-within look, without adding shimmer to the face.

This serum is perfect for us gals who have skin on the more oily side, because it absorbs instantly into your skin without leaving any residue behind! No more oily looking skin here ladies! All I was left with was refreshed, luminous skin that made me feel 5 years younger! Who doesn't love that?!

This eye mask was a lot of fun to use! It was easy to apply, and my under eye area was left feeling moisturized, refreshed and I think it even looked better! A definite must-have after those long summer nights!

Luminous Deep Hydration Revitalizing Eye Mask

The unique coconut-derived biocellulose mask, developed originally to speed healing for burn victims, forms an occlusive layer on the skin. This enables the powerful actives to help promote the appearance of hydrated, revitalized-looking eyes. Intense hydration dramatically reduces the appearance of puffiness dark circles, and fine lines around the eye area for a rested, refreshed look.

Brand Overview

For over 300 years, Japan’s geisha have been held in awe for their enduring wisdom and breathtakingly beautiful, porcelain skin.

Perfected through centuries of timeless rituals, it was widely believed these beauty secrets had been passed down from one generation of geisha to the next by word of mouth alone.
That is, until TATCHA rediscovered their coveted daily regimes in a 200 year-old ancient manuscript, written in the twilight of Japan’s Edo Period.

Traveling back to the City of 2000 Temples (Kyoto), TATCHA has worked with teams of scientists, scholars and geisha themselves to decipher the rituals and ingredients from this text.  What we uncovered is the very foundation of Eastern skincare and beauty.

We offer these formulas in homage to the icon of Eastern beauty and our own storied heritage. Through a proprietary process involving the very best green teas, Okinawa red algae and rice bran—as well as other indigenous extracts—the secrets of the geisha live on in TATCHA.

Water Collection Information

TATCHA’s most recent discoveries—beloved by geisha, proven by science, remastered for you.
In the translucent waters of an Okinawa lagoon grows a delicate red algae, rich in minerals and powerfully hydrating. Called “treasure from the god of the sea” by the island’s inhabitants, the algae is revered for its ability to restore skin’s luminosity from the inside out. The TATCHA Water Collection features Okinawa Red Algae married with Hyaluronic Acid, known to hold a thousand times its weight in water, for deeply hydrated, nourished skin and a naturally luminous glow.

XoXo,
Whitney
