Get the Look: Anna Kendrick at the Cake Premiere‏

Hey everyone!

Hitting the red carpet for the hotly anticipated premiere of "Cake" at this year's Toronto Film Festival, Anna Kendrick's look was created with one theme in mind -- dreamy daytime. "Since this was a daytime premiere, we wanted to keep Anna's look a bit more demure than what you'd expect to see on a nighttime red carpet", says Kendrick's makeup artist Toby Fleischman.

"Going for a soft, pretty look, I smudged Nars Duo Eyeshadow in Dogon under the bottom lashes and into the corner of her lash line. The irridescent taupe eyeshadow blends beautifully into the gray, creating a very subtle smoke, perfect for daytime", says Fleischman. She followed it up with a few coats of Lancome's Grandiose Mascara, one of her favorites, to get "just the right amount of drama".

"We kept the rest of the face very subtle, using Pur Minerals Cream Blush in Coy, which melts right into the cheeks for a nude, flushed look. And last, but certainly not least, we finished the look off with Burt's Bees new Lip Crayon in Sedona Sands ($9, www.burtsbees.com), which gives the absolute perfect neutral lip. The color is great on a variety of skin tones, and the formula is super moisturizing. Voila!"
 
I have been testing out these two products for a couple weeks now, and I now know why they used them in this look! The cream blush applies evenly to the skin, and gives you a subtle, natural glow. And, the Burt's Bees Lip Crayon completes the neutral look with a soft lip!

For the warmer months, I am all about tinted lip balms that give my lips a dose of color, while still keeping them hydrated. Recently, I was sent two new Lip Shimmers from Burt's Bess in the shades Apricot and Grapefruit! 
These lip shimmers give your lips a dash of color, while leaving them hydrated and minty fresh. My favorite of the two colors is Apricot, because I found it to be the most natural. Grapefruit needing extra blending to look flawless, since it runs quite frosty on the lips.

I love a super easy nude lip, and even more, I love a nude lip that is moisturizing! Recently, I was sent these two products from Burt's Bees to try out and review. I received their Lip Shimmer in Peony and Tinted Lip Balm in Caramel Daisy.

These lip products are perfect to wear alone, but my favorite way to wear them is layered up! I use the Lip Shimmer as a base, and then apply the Tinted Lip Balm over top.

Burt's Bees Radiance Day Lotion SPF 7

Hey everyone!

I have never been one to moisturize my skin on a regular basis. I know you should moisturize, but I have oily, sensitive skin; so it's always been a challenge for me. Recently, I was sent a sample of Burt's Bees Radiance Day Lotion with SPF 7 to try out and review for you! When I first tried this lotion out, I was surprised about how quick it absorbed into my skin. It only took me a minute to apply to my face, and I was left with moisturized (not greasy) skin, with a slight glow to it. However, I am not a fan of the scent. It has a strong perfume smell, that can be a tad overwhelming until it dissipates off the skin. Other than the smell, I enjoyed this product, and only wished it had a higher SPF in it.

Hey everyone!

I am always in search of that one amazing lip balm to keep within my purse. Recently, I was sent Burt's Bees new Revitalizing Lip Balm to try out. Now, let's just go ahead and state the obvious about this lip balm... it smells like chocolate covered blueberries! How fantastic is that? Who needs dessert, when you can have this beauty to use. As far as the formulation is concerned, I found it to be very moisturizing and long lasting. I applied this first thing in the morning, and could still feel a bit on my lips around lunch time (and I talked a lot)!

Get Fresh This Weekend with Güd‏

Hey everyone!

You all know how much I love Burt's Bees' Gud line. Their products smell and work amazing for my hair and body. Recently, I was lucky enough to be scent a few goodies from their Pearanormal Activity and Orange Petalooza scents. 

The Pearanormal Activity shampoo and conditioner worked well with my hair, leaving it silky smooth and soft! I found that a little amount went a long way for both products, and they rinsed clean out of my hair. Plus, my hair smelled like delicious pears! What's not love?

The Orange Petalooza body lotion and shower gel smell so good! I actually look forward to applying moisturizer now after the shower. The shower gel has a rich lather, moisturizes the skin, and leaves behind a soft, sweet orange scent that lingers most of the morning. The body lotion is rich and luxurious without being greasy or heavy on the skin. I apply this after my shower in the morning, and my skin has never felt or smelled better!

This is a review on Burt’s Bees Hand Salve, Hand Sanitizer, Body Butter, Tips & Toes Kit, Lip Shimmers, Very Volumizing Conditioner, and Super Shiny Conditioner!
