This is a review on the Smashbox Cosmetics’ Eye Lights in the shade Flash!

Smashbox’s Eye Lights in Flash is a gorgeous eye shadow trio containing the colors: peachy pink, shimmering burgundy, and mossy green. These eye shadows are silky in texture, and blend on my lids evenly. The colors can be used individually as a wash over, or all together to create a soft shimmering smoky eye. My favorite technique is to use the peachy pink as a highlight, the shimmering burgundy as an all over lid color, and the mossy green in my crease.

I love Eye Lights all-in-one high quality packaging. What’s even more fantastic is that I get three gorgeous complimenting eye shadows, a large mirror, and a dual end sponge-tip/liner applicator! It’s perfect to always have in my purse, makeup bag, or even travel bag. The only downside to the packaging is that it can get smudgy with a lot of use.

~Smashbox Cosmetics' Cream Eye Liner Review!~

This is a review on the Smashbox Cosmetics’ Cream Eye Liner in the shades Midnight Brown, Lava, and Picasso!

These cream liners from Smashbox are wonderful! They have a smooth velvety texture, which lasts all day, and doesn’t smear. I just love the gorgeous colors that these eye liners come in. My favorite way to wear them is along my upper lash line, or as a base on my lid. I find that by using the cream liners as a base, my eye shadow appears more vibrant and richer in color.

~Smashbox Cosmetics' Cooling Tint Review!~

Hey everyone!

This is a review on the Smashbox Cosmetics’ Backdrop Cooling Tint in the shade 4!

Smashbox’s Cooling Tint in the shade 4 is perfect to wear alone, underneath, or over foundation! The semi liquid formula can be messy, but the consistency allows me to apply it quickly and evenly. Sometimes I just like to change things up a bit, so I apply Smashbox Photo Finish Primer first, and then add the tint. Either way, my skin is left feeling light, refreshed, moisturized, and super soft. I have found that my fingers are the best and easiest way to apply it.

I am also keen on Smashbox using a SPF 15, because it helps to keep my skin protected from the sun! What’s more is that it smells delicious, I can actually image lying on the beach, as the aroma of coconut, salty air, and sunscreen captivates my senses.

This product retails for $32.00.

Pros:

~Light weight feel

~Sheer coverage

~Cooling sensation

~Delicious “at-the-beach” scent

Cons:

~Can be messy when applying due to thin consistency

~It is discontinued, but I know you can find it available at certain online sites

Overall, I rate this product at 4.25 out of 5 sugarcubes! Whether the scent, or the actual product, it’s perfect to always keep close by when your skin needs an instant pick-me-up!

~Smashbox Cosmetics' Photo Finish Primer Review!~

This is a review on the Smashbox Cosmetics’ Photo Finish Foundation Primer!

Smashbox’s Photo Finish Primer is great to use alone, or underneath any foundation. Since a little goes a long way, only use one or two pumps! The formulation of this product leaves my skin feeling silky smooth, nourished, and moisturized all in one! Still, I have noticed that after a few hours, my foundation will wear off in oily areas.

I adore the packaging of the Smashbox primer with its convenient, airless pump, which allows for easy dispensing. The product itself is small enough to be carried in any makeup bag, purse, or overnight bag!

This product retails for $36.00.

Pros:

~Leaves your skin feeling silky smooth

~Clear formula

~A little goes a long way

~Convenient pump

Cons:

~My oily skin wears off the primer and foundation after a few hours

Overall, I rate this product at 4 out of 5 sugarcubes! It is a makeup bag must have when I want my face to be picture ready!

Smashbox Fusion Soft Lights Review!

Hey everyone!

This is a review on the Smashbox Cosmetics’ Fusion Soft Lights in the shade Intermix!

Smashbox got it right with this beauty! The mixture of colors ranging from champagne to a deep bronze is lovely. I like to use the Smashbox’s #2 Face and Cheek brush, and swirl it in all of the colors, then apply it as a highlight to my cheeks. It gives me that fresh candlelit glow that looks completely natural.

Another great thing about this product is that I can use each color individually! I love to use a fluffy eye brush to apply a light wash over my lids, and to highlight underneath my brow! This is a perfect way to bring extra light into my eyes, which makes them appear awake and fresh!

This product retails for $30.00.

Pros:

~Adds a natural glow

~Lasts all day

~Can use one color or all

~Cute, fun packaging

Cons:

~None!

Lavera Cosmetics' Bio Beauty Eye Shadow in the shade Golden Beige! This color is perfect as a wash over your lids.

Surlygirly eye shadow in the shade Indescretion! I absolutely love this gorgeous shimmering peach color, it instantly wakes up your eyes!

BH Cosmetics' Tropical Shimmer 88 Palette! This palette has every color you can think of, and will instantly have you whisked away to a tropical island!

Smashbox Cosmetics' Lip Enhancing Gloss in the shade Reveal! This is a limited edition gloss from their Masquerade Collection. I love the beautiful gold shimmer that this gloss adds to my lips.

Smashbox Cosmetic's Baked Fusion Soft Lights Palette. This is a limited edition product from their Masquerade Collection. I love this shimmering highlight palette, it gives my cheeks a soft, subtle glow!

Too Faced Retractable Kabuki Brush! I love the softness of this brush! It applies mineral foundation perfectly, and is great to keep in my purse!

Smashbox Cosmetics' High Definition Powder! This powder/brush combo is perfect to keep in my purse or school bag, and I love that there are two powders to chose from: matte or luminous!

BH Cosmetics' Tropical Shimmer 88 Palette Review!

This is a review on the BH Cosmetics Tropical Shimmer 88 Color Palette!

BH Cosmetics got it right with this gorgeous palette filled with tropical themed shimmering eye shadows! They are extremely pigmented and soft in texture, which makes application and blending a breeze. The colors themselves are stunning, and appear vibrant throughout the day.

The palette includes a large mirror with sponge tip applicators in the lid. The shadows in the case themselves are small in size, but with a smorgasbord of 88 different colors to chose from, the pallet turns into a feast for your eyes! The packaging itself is very high quality, though it will smudge rather quickly.

This palette retails for $24.99!
