I love trying out new hair products as much as the next girl. So, when I was contacted to review GG Gatsby's products, you know I just had to say yes!

Over-The-Top Root Lift Spray - $17.99

This hair spray is a lot of fun to use, because it really works! I find that my hair has much more volume at the roots, and my styles stay in place a lot longer whenever I include this in my hair routine.

This shimmer spray is great to use when you want to add that extra sparkle to your look day or night. I find that it leaves my hair with a soft golden sheen to it, that is absolutely beautiful under the light. Plus, it smells incredible! I think this is my absolute favorite product from the bunch.

Fall Favorites

Hey everyone!

It is slowly becoming that time of the year again, when you can start to enjoy apple cider and festive pumpkins. I know that I have already decorated my room with fall decor, changed out my candles to cozy sweater weather scents, and switched up my makeup routine. Recently, I received some amazing fall goodies that I just had to share with you all!

These all natural, kosher lip balms are fantastic! I love that they contain natural ingredients like coconut oil, beeswax, and organic olive oil. I find the formulation to be light weight, moisturizing, and easy to apply. The scents are incredible, and they make me smile every time I pull one out of my purse. These are definitely a must-have in my bag from now on!

Natural Life Let it Be Boho Owl Pillow - $28.00

Let's just take a moment to admire how cute this pillow is! All done? Good!

Now, this pillow is made from a wide variety of fabrics, which gives it a uniquely chic appearance. I love the fun bright colors mixed with warm, neutral tones, which makes this pillow one you could leave out all year long. The stitching and quality of this pillow is excellent, and I can definitely see it lasting for many years to come. The quote on the back is perfect to remember when starting a new season. "Let it Be" reminds me everyday to leave the past in the past and look towards today as a new beginning. I think that is advice that everyone should live by.

Suave Kids Detangling Spray in Double Dutch Apple

Hey everyone!

My hair loves to become a tangled mess whenever it gets wet, so I always have to have a detangling spray on hand at all times. Recently, I found this Suave Kids Detangling Spray in Double Dutch Apple at my local Target for around $2.00. I thought for the price, it was worth a try, and I'm so glad I did! My hair loves this stuff! It smells fantastic, and leaves my hair knot-free after my shower.

Emmy Awards: Rose Bryne + John Frieda‏

Hey everyone!

Inspired by an image of Bianca Jagger from the late 70's/early 80's, John Frieda International Creative Consultant Harry Josh gave Rose Byrne a modern and polished version of the wild waves. Below please find the steps he took to create her sleek look, using products from John Frieda Hair Care. 

Step 1 – Prep
Josh started by applying Frizz-Ease Hair Serum Original Formula ($9.99 at drugstores) to Rose’s wet hair. “Rose’s recent transformation from brunette to blonde was a drastic change for the hair, which can often cause more frizz and overall unruliness, so it was crucial that we start with this serum for better manageability,” said Josh. Next, in order to add texture to prep the hair for the waves, Josh applied Frizz-Ease Curl Reviver Styling Mousse ($6.99 at drugstores) throughout in order to create the texture needed for the waves, and blow-dried using his Pro Tools Pro Dryer 2000 ($300, Hairenvy.com), using the wider nozzle to help build volume. blow-dried using his Pro Tools Pro Dryer 2000 ($300, Hairenvy.com), using the wider nozzle to help build volume.  

Step 2 – Style
Josh wrapped hair in Velcro rollers and allowed hair to set for 30 minutes. Then, using a curling iron with a ¾ inch barrel, wrapped ¼ inch sections of hair around the iron horizontally and in the same direction and pinned each curl with a duckbill clip to set. 

Step 3 – Perfect

To finish, Josh let the waves down and flipped them over to mist Frizz-Ease Moisture Barrier Firm Hold Hairspray  ($5.99 at drugstores) in order to ensure the style looked  perfect all night long.

Reminder about Burt's Bees and Lipstick Angels Collaboration

Lumene Time Freeze Anti Aging CC Cream

Hey everyone!

I'm not one to wear heavy foundation on my skin. I love a more natural look. Recently, I was sent a sample of Lumene's Time Freeze Anti Aging CC Cream in the shade medium to try out. This CC Cream is thinner in consistency than Lumene's BB Cream, but I like it even more. I find that the product easily applies to my skin, looks natural, and wears a good 5 hours before it starts to fade. I think the medium shade matches my skin tone well. There is a slight scent to this product, but it seems to fade once applied. I do with the tube came with a pump.

L'Occitane Immortelle Flower - Anti-Aging Skincare Divine Lotion

Hey everyone!

Since I am now aging into my 20's anti-aging skincare is starting to become more dominate in my routine. Recently, I was sent a sample of L'Occitane's new Divine Lotion from their Immortelle Collection. This lotion is packed full of anti-aging properties. I find that it absorbs quickly into my skin, without leaving behind a greasy residue. The scent is very light, and a little goes a long way to moisturize my skin. I haven't noticed a drastic change in my skin, but I hope that by using this product, I will keep it from aging quickly. My only compliant is that I wish the bottle came with a pump instead of a stopper.
