Advent Grab Box Calendar Day 15!

Hey everyone!

For the 15th day of December, I plan to take it easy, and watch a ton of Christmas movies! This morning, I pulled out this gift from my Advent Grab Box Calendar!

Taylor Swift Enchanted Wonderstruck perfume!! I have been wanting one of her perfumes for a while, so this totally made my day!

Also, I baked these delicious Peanut Butter Surprise Cookies today! And they are fabulous, if I do say so myself!

Advent Grab Box Calendar Day 14!

Another Maybelline Dr. Rescue Lip Balm in Just Peachy! I have fallen in love with this range of lip balms, so I was super excited to see another one in my box! Plus, the peach shade is stunning!

Homemade French Toast

Hey everyone!

Since I have really started to get into cooking, I decided to whip up an awesome breakfast for me and my mom! The other morning, I created french toast! This was my first time doing it, and I was impressed with the results.

For the egg mixture that you dunk the bread into I used...

~2 eggs
~1/3 cup milk
~A pinch of nutmeg
~A hefty dash of cinnamon
~1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Whisk all of these ingredients together until well combined. This mixture was perfect for 4 slices of bread.

Then, I dunked in my breadslices, making sure to give each slice 15 seconds on each side to absorb the liquid. After that, I placed the slices into a skillet on medium heat with 2 tablespoons of butter to help the browning process.

Watch your bread closely, once the first side has browned nicely, flip them over and cook the other side.

Once your french toast is completely cooked, serve it up with powdered sugar and maple syrup!

Happy Day 12 of December! We had a bit of a cooler day today, so I'm totally happy! This morning, I pulled out this little package from my Advent Grab Box Calendar!

Candy Cane flavored ChapStick! I love this lip balm, and getting one for Christmas is just awesome! 

Also, me and my mom baked these Chocolate Chip and M&M's cookies today totally from scratch! And, if I say so myself, they are incredible!

Sally Hansen Colorfast Tint + Moisture Balm Review and Swatches

The other day, I was checking out my local CVS, when I saw that the Sally Hansen Colorfast Tint + Moisture Balms were 75% off on clearance! Naturally, I just had to try them, and ended up only paying $1.25 for each one!

These lip pencils are great to keep in your bag for on the go application, because they twist up, and are mess free! The color range is fairly vast, and I found that I had a lot of light lip choices (which I love!) The pigmentation is quite impressive for balms, and they leave my lips looking glossy and feeling moisturized! Definitely a win-win for me!
