Hey everyone!
Today my mom and I worked in her garden. I must say that was hard work, but at least it's starting to warm up down here!
Right now we are growing: cherry tomatoes, broccoli, miniature bell peppers, hot peppers, leeks, and shallots! Not to mention the fantastic herbs we have growing such as: rosemary, chives, basil, sage, and plenty more! The best part in having a garden is harvesting it! It's fun to see how big everything has grown, and how your hard work has paid off!
I have finished the 7th product in my Project 15 Pan! It always seems that once you hit the half-way point, a lot of the other products take longer to finish! I am hoping to have them all finished by my Birthday in May, so that I can do some more shopping! :)
Awesome news for my readers!
I will be holding a tiny Spring Cleaning giveaway in March, to celebrate the Beginning of Spring! The prizes will be cute little soaps I have purchased at a local shop. They are handmade soaps from Thailand. I can personally say that they smell amazing!
I am still working on the details so I will let you know more soon!

Whitney

~Quick Lipstick Tip!~
Hey everyone!
Does your lipstick appear a bit too bright?
Here are a couple of quick and easy ways to tone down your lipstick in a matter of seconds!
Tip #1:
Blot your lips with tissue! This will instantly take off the heavy layer of lipstick allowing a more matte/subtle finish!
Tip #2:
Apply a lighter shade of lip gloss that compliments your lipstick. This will diffuse the bright color and add a beautiful shine!
Tip #3:
If you simply cannot take the bright lips, and the other tips do not help, simply take off your lipstick and replace it with another shade!
That's the beauty of makeup! It's made to be played with!
Hope this helps you!

Whitney

Yesterday morning at 5am, my mom and I arrived at Denny's for their Free Grand Slam Breakfast. We had to wait till 5:30 am before they started serving us, but the wait was well worth it!
The Grand Slam was amazing! We had a great waitress, and a wonderful time!
The breakfast included: Pancakes, Bacon, Sausage, and Eggs. I added hash browns to mine for only 99 cents!
Hopefully Denny's will continue this for next year!

~The Body Shop - Nature's Minerals Eye Shadow Review~
Hey everyone!
I purchased these Nature's Minerals Eye Shadows when The Body Shop was having their HUGE sale online!
I got a great deal on these shadows! They were 3 for $10! Normally each would have been $13, so this was a fantastic deal!
These eye shadows are highly pigmented with a large amount of shimmer to them (which I adore!). I find that they apply easily with either a brush or your fingers.
The packaging is very durable, and is easy to keep clean (which is a bonus to me). The packaging is very small, which allows you to put more than one shade into your makeup bag.
It takes a couple good taps on the bottom to get the product to pass through the shifter. I find this to be good for me, because it allows me not to waste product by having too much and it spilling out when I open the lid.
The colors themselves are vibrant and shimmery, and last for hours without any touch-ups needed. I find that the shimmer/glitter can wear away after a couples hours (but that does not bother me).
Colors from top to bottom are:
~Radiant Graphite
~Pink Opal
~Platinum Shimmer
I find that these colors blend well with each other, and will compliment most of the other colors I have in my collection.
Pros:
~Small, durable packaging
~Easy to keep packaging (lid) clean
~Beautiful colors
~Highly pigmented
~Color will stay vibrant for hours
Cons:
~Shimmer will wear off within a couple hours
~The shifter allows for a limited amount of product to pass through (this could be seen as a positive as stated before)
Overall, I rate these products at 4.75 out of 5 sugarcubes! I would repurchase these items; however, it would be when The Body Shop had another online sale!
XoXo,
Whitney
Note: I purchased these items with my own money. I am not associated with The Body Shop, nor are they paying me to review their products. As always, this is my honest opinion! :)

~Beauty Rush Eye Shadow Review~
Hey everyone!
This is a review on the Beauty Rush Eye Shadows that I purchased when Victoria's Secret was having their Semi-Annual Sale.
One of the first things that are noticeable about these eye shadows are their pigmentation. The colors are extremely pigmented, and they have a great sparkle/sheen to them.
However, the sparkle/glitter does not stay with the shadow for very long, and within a short time your eye shadow has become almost matte.
They come with a built-in sponge applicator. I think the applicator does make the eye shadow tricky/messy to apply (use a light hand!).
As far as the packaging goes, I think Victoria's Secret got it right! The packaging is light but feels sturdy in your hand.
~Flashback
~Blutopia
~Purple Dazzle
~After Midnight
Pros:
~Great packaging
~Great colors and pigmentation
~Color will stay pigmented for hours
Cons:
~Sparkle/sheen does not last, and quickly disappears
~Applicator makes the eye shadow messy to apply
~Slight fall out on cheeks and under eyes
~Does cost $7.00, but I purchased mine for only $1.75 on sale!
Overall, I would not purchase these eye shadows again, unless they were on sale for $1.75. I rate these eye shadows at 3 out of 5 sugarcubes.
XoXo,
Whitney
Note: I purchased these products with my own money. I am not associated with any company, nor am I paid to do reviews of any kind. This is my honest opinion of the product.

~Skin MD Natural Review and Giveaway!~
Hey everyone!
I was given a chance to try out and review Skin MD Natural's Shielding Lotion.
I have done a testing period of one week to try out the lotion, and I must say it really does improve your skin!
I was amazed at how quickly the lotion was absorbed into my skin, and it did not leave me feeling greasy like most other lotions tend to do.
I used this lotion on my elbows mainly, because my elbows tend to be overly dry and cracked. When I put the lotion on, I immediately felt a relief in my skin. The lotion has a calming effect, and a slightly cooling/anti-itch feeling to it.
The directions on the bottle say: Apply a small amount, initially every 2-8 hours until moisture level improves, then just apply once every 12-24 hours.
After using the lotion for a week following the directions the best that I could, I can tell a remarkable difference in my elbows. They have almost completely smoothed out, and the rough appearance of the skin has improved greatly!
My mom has been trying the lotion out with me as well, because her hands get severly chapped and dry from washing dishes and doing house work. She has noticed a huge improvement in her skin! It has taken the redness and puffiness out of her hands, leaving them soft and smooth.
This lotion can be bought on the Skin MD Natural website. The link is... www.skinmdnatural.com or you can purchase the lotion at certain stores in your area, by using the store locator. The link is... http://www.skinmdnatural.com/store-locator.html
The lotion is $18 for a 4 oz bottle, and that does seem expensive at first. However, after comparing this product to that of prescription lotion that my mother has bought in the past, and The Body Shop's Body Butters and lotions, plus many more, I have come to the conclusion that this lotion is worth the price.
Pros:
~Does not leave a greasy feel on your skin
~Leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth
~There is not much scent to the product, so people that are sensitive to smells will not have to worry
~It is made with natural ingredients
~The bottle is sleek and small enough to carry around in your bag or purse
~You can use the lotion all over: face, hands, and body (my mom uses it on her neck, and her neck is looking younger I believe!)
~A little goes a long way
Cons:
~The product is more on the expensive side for a lotion
~There are limited areas where you can purchase this lotion, but I believe they are working on expanding to more locations.
Overall, I rate this lotion at 4.75 out of 5 sugarcubes! I will be repurchasing this lotion once mine has run out, and I will be buying it for my mom as well!
Now, here is the exciting news for my followers! Skin MD Natural has been nice enough to sponsor a giveaway/contest on my blog!
The winner will recieve a full size bottle of the Shielding Lotion along with several samples of the Shielding Lotion plus SPF 15!
