~Rimmel London - Lasting Finish Pro Nail Enamel Review!~

Hey everyone!

This is a review on the Rimmel London Lasting Finish Pro Nail Enamel in the shade Steel Grey.

Here is a bit of information from the Press Release: Enriched with micro-sized minerals that fill in imperfections on the nail surface, Lasting Finish Pro Nail Enamel creates a smooth and super glossy finish for up to 10 days of maximum color impact and shine. Advanced micro formula technology with an active time-release system enhances shine over time while UV fade protection keeps color true.

The
Mistake-Free Pro Brush features a wide angled brush for a fast and mistake-free professional application. With more than 800 fine bristles, the brush is designed to adapt to any nail shape and requires less strokes to apply, while delivering a super smooth finish and truly streak-free results.

The nail enamel formula is fast drying, and has an amazing glossy finish. From normal wear and tear, this nail enamel can stand up pretty well on its own without chips.

The glossy finish lasts pretty much as long as you wear the nail enamel. I have noticed that after 7-8 days it can begin to dull slightly.

The wide angled brush is great; it makes applying the nail polish quick and easy. With the Steel Grey shade, 2-3 coats gets you a nice dark color, one coat alone is too sheer.

The Rimmel London Pro Nail Enamel retails for $3.99 (which is a great price!).

Pros:
~Glossy finish
~Beautiful, rich colors
~Chip resistant
~Fast drying
~New wide-angle brush

Cons:
~Needs more than one coat
~Peels off easily

Overall, I rate this product at 4.25 out of 5 sugarcubes! The nail enamel is great to wear for everyday occasions, and due to the inexpensive price, it would be great to travel with!

This is a review on the Arissa Studio’s Baked Eyeshadows in the shades Outer Space and Starry Nights.

Here is a bit of information off the website: These high-pigmented shades that are formulated to enhance your eyes with brilliant color. Shadows are baked for a long lasting wear & silky smooth texture - perfect for both day and sizzling night looks. This fun collection of 14 baked eye shadows is ideal for both wet and dry application.

These eye shadows are dome-shaped, and they have an incredible shine! The first time I wore them, I received many compliments on my eyes!

From Top to Bottom:
~Starry Nights
~Outer Space

The eye shadows last all day, but I have noticed occasionally after 6 to 7 hours, they will begin to slightly crease.

The shine lasts all day and does not wear off. The formula is extremely smooth and easy to work with.

The applicators are fantastic! They help you to apply the eye shadow, and blend them out perfectly.

These eye shadows retail for: $5.50! A great deal if you ask me!

Pros:
~Last all day
~Great shine
~Fantastic applicators
~Beautiful/vibrant colors

Cons:
~Can occasionally crease after 6 to 7 hours

Overall, I rate these eye shadows at 4.75 out of 5 sugarcubes! I believe they would be great to travel with, and keep in your purse for a night on the town!

~Arissa Studio's Line Art Eye Liner Review~

Hey everyone!

This is a review on the Arissa Studio’s Line Art Eye Liner in the shade Dark Brown.

Here is a bit of information from the website: Long-Lasting, silky formula glides on smoothly with effortless application. Twist up eyeliner never needs sharpening, with built-in smudger to create that perfect pair of sultry eyes, Available in 6 shades.

This is a duel ended brush with an eyeliner crayon at one end, and a smudger brush at the other end.

I use this product as a brow pencil and eyeliner.

The smudger brush is extremely high quality! It helps you easily smudge the eyeliner to give you that sexy, smoky effect. Also, I use the brush to smudge out eye shadow!

The eye liner crayon is easy to work with and smudge. The color will last all day, but if your eyes happen to water, then the product may disappear. You can shade in your brows easily, but remember to use a light hand when doing so! I love the fact that you never have to sharpen the eyeliner!

Plus, when I use the eyeliner up, I plan to keep the product and use the brush!

This retails for $5.00!

Pros:
~Duel ended
~Multi-purpose
~Amazing smudger brush
~Last all day

Cons:
~Can disappear if eyes water

Overall, I rate this product at 4.5 out of 5 sugarcubes! It is a great product to always have in your purse for on the go touchups, and whenever you need an eye brush!

~Lumiere Skin & Beauty Bar - Blush Review!~

Hey everyone!

This is a review on the Lumiere Skin & Beauty Bar Blush in the shade Poppy.

The texture of this blush is extremely silky and smooth. The powder is very fine, which means that it will not appear cakey on your skin. When you apply this blush, your skin feels very soft and smooth.

The shade Poppy is a beautiful soft natural nude light pink color.

This product can be used as a: blush, eye shadow, and a soft all-over face color. The blush gives you a soft, healthy, pink appearance without being too harsh on your skin.

As an eye shadow, I find that this product works great blended with other eye shadows, or by itself. It will last on my lids for 3-4 hours without needing touchups or creasing.

As a blush and all-over face color, the color can last all day. However, I have noticed that on my oily skin, the color and product will fade within a few hours.

Since the powder is so fine, it can become messy during application.

This retails for:
~Large Jar - $12.00
~Sample Bag - $1.00

Pros:
~Beautiful color
~Smooth/silky texture
~Multi-purpose

Cons:
~Messy application
~Color can fade on oily skin

Overall, I rate the Lumiere Skin & Beauty Bar Blush at 4.25 out of 5 sugarcubes! This is a good multi-purpose product to keep in your makeup bag.

~Lumiere Skin & Beauty Bar - Mineral Foundation Review!~

Hey everyone!

This is a review on the Lumiere Skin & Beauty Bar Mineral Foundation.

The foundation powder is very fine and soft in texture. It blends into the skin with ease and does not appear cakey. However, due to the fineness of the powder, I find that application can be a bit messy, if you are not careful.

Besides using this as a foundation, I use it as an under eye concealer. I just dab a little extra with my fingers underneath my eyes and gently blend. This little step instantly brightens my under eye circles, and makes me appear awake!

The coverage of the foundation is light to medium.

I use one of my kabuki brushes to apply it. This is the best type of brush to use, because I can quickly and easily buff the Mineral Foundation into my skin.

This foundation can be a bit drying on skin, but with my oiliness, it is not a big problem for me.

Lumiere Skin & Beauty Bar has several foundation shades, which means you can find your perfect match!

This retails for:
XX Large Jar (12 gm) - $18.00
Large Jar (14 gm) - $12.00
Sample Bag - $1.00

Pros:
~Multi-purpose
~Fine/smooth texture
~Does not appear cakey
~Easy/quick to buff in

Cons:
~Can be a bit messy
~Can be drying on skin

Overall, I rate the Lumiere Skin & Beauty Bar Mineral Foundation at 3.75 out of 5 stars. I think the foundation has great coverage, and I love the fact that I can use it as an under eye concealer as well!

~Lumiere Skin & Beauty Bar - Eye Shadow Pigment Review!~

Hey everyone!

This is a review on the Lumiere Skin & Beauty Bar eye pigments.

These eye pigments are absolutely gorgeous! When you apply them on your eyes, they catch the light, giving you a beautiful sheen on your lids!

They are great to use by themselves, or with any other eye shadows you have. You can easily build-up the intensity of color on your lids. These eye pigments can be used either dry for a more subtle look, or wet for a more foil/dramatic look.

The texture is extremely fine and silky. I use either a brush or my finger to apply the pigments.

I find that these eye pigments will stay vibrant and creaseless for about 4-5 hours. After that, I will normally do a quick touchup.

There can be a slight issue with fallout, if you do not tap off your brush well. Also, the sample size jars do not have shifters, so if you drop the jar with the lid off, you could have a huge mess on your hands.

Top to Bottom:
~Twilight Green
~Purple Haze

This retails for:
~Large Jar (2 gm) - $8.00
~Mini Jar Sample (1 gm) - $5.00
~Refill Vial (2 gm) - $8.00

Pros:
~Vibrant, beautiful colors
~Lasts for hours without touchups
~Silky texture
~Easy to use wet or dry

Cons:
~Can have slight fallout
~No shifter in sample jars

Overall, I rate these eye pigments at 4.75 out of 5 sugarcubes! They are extremely vibrant and beautiful colors that will easily complete your makeup collection! Plus, they are affordable!

~Lumiere Skin & Beauty Bar - Lumi Lip Gloss Review!~

Hey everyone!

This is a review on the Lumiere Skin & Beauty Bar Lumi Lips Gloss in the shade Violaceous.

I received a small sample size of the lip gloss, and I must say the sample is adorable! This is the perfect size to take on a vacation, or to carry in your purse!

Violaceous is a stunning plum color with a light shimmer.

The texture of the gloss is non-sticky and very smooth. It is a very light weight gloss, and at times I do not even feel as if I have any on!

The gloss looks beautiful by itself or over any lip color. I find that without eating or drinking, the gloss will last 3-4 hours without needing touchups.

There is a very slight plastic smell to the gloss, but the smell disappears during application.

Retail prices are:
~Mini Size Lip Wand - $3.00
~Large Lip Wand - $8.50
~Large Squeeze Tube - $8.50

Pros:
~Non-sticky
~Very smooth/silky
~Gorgeous colors available
~Lasts for hours without touchups
~Different sizes available

Cons:
~Slight plastic smell

Overall, I rate the Lumiere Skin & Beauty Bar Lumi Lip Gloss at 4.25 out of 5 sugarcubes! I think it is one of the non-stickiest glosses I have come across!

~Mineral Essence All-Over Face Color Review~

Hey everyone!

This is a review on the Mineral Essence Anywhere Face Color in the shade Glow.

Some information from the Mineral Essence website: Now that healthy, sun-kissed glow can be yours all year-round with the latest innovation in cheek and face color. These subtle bronzers contain a natural blend of crushed minerals that come straight from the earth. Enriched with Vitamins A, C & E and antioxidant-rich Green Tea Extract, Anywhere Face Colors are free of fragrances, oils, emulsifiers, preservatives and additives to reveal a more vivacious you - the way nature intended.

The Anywhere Face Color is a sheer pink/bronze with a light luminous finish. This product does exactly what it says, it gives me color anywhere. The face powder, eye shadow, and blush, leaves my skin with a soft subtle sun-kissed glow. I even love to use it on my shoulders and chest.

Mineral Essence Anywhere Face Color works great on my sensitive skin; I have not had any irritation or blemishes. I apply this powder with my Mineral Essence Grand Kabuki Brush, but any fluffy brush will work just fine.

My only issue with the packaging is that the shifter holes are a bit large, which causes more powder to be disbursed. This can result in a bit of mess when using it, if you dispense too much.

This retails for $16.00.

Pros:
~Fantastic sun-kiss color
~Great for sensitive skin
~All purpose powder

Cons (Only one!):
~Large shifter holes

Overall, I rate the Mineral Essence Anywhere Face Color at 4.75 out of 5 sugarcubes! It is a great powder to use when you want to sparkle with a sun-kissed glow!
