~Beauty Rush Eye Shadow Review~

Hey everyone!

This is a review on the Beauty Rush Eye Shadows that I purchased when Victoria's Secret was having their Semi-Annual Sale.

One of the first things that are noticeable about these eye shadows are their pigmentation. The colors are extremely pigmented, and they have a great sparkle/sheen to them.

However, the sparkle/glitter does not stay with the shadow for very long, and within a short time your eye shadow has become almost matte.

They come with a built-in sponge applicator. I think the applicator does make the eye shadow tricky/messy to apply (use a light hand!).

As far as the packaging goes, I think Victoria's Secret got it right! The packaging is light but feels sturdy in your hand.

Colors from left to right:

~Flashback

~Blutopia

~Purple Dazzle

~After Midnight

Pros:

~Great packaging

~Great colors and pigmentation

~Color will stay pigmented for hours

Cons:

~Sparkle/sheen does not last, and quickly disappears

~Applicator makes the eye shadow messy to apply

~Slight fall out on cheeks and under eyes

~Does cost $7.00, but I purchased mine for only $1.75 on sale!

Overall, I would not purchase these eye shadows again, unless they were on sale for $1.75. I rate these eye shadows at 3 out of 5 sugarcubes.

XoXo,

Whitney

Note: I purchased these products with my own money. I am not associated with any company, nor am I paid to do reviews of any kind. This is my honest opinion of the product.

~Skin MD Natural Review and Giveaway!~

Hey everyone!

I was given a chance to try out and review Skin MD Natural's Shielding Lotion.

I have done a testing period of one week to try out the lotion, and I must say it really does improve your skin!

I was amazed at how quickly the lotion was absorbed into my skin, and it did not leave me feeling greasy like most other lotions tend to do.

I used this lotion on my elbows mainly, because my elbows tend to be overly dry and cracked. When I put the lotion on, I immediately felt a relief in my skin. The lotion has a calming effect, and a slightly cooling/anti-itch feeling to it.

The directions on the bottle say: Apply a small amount, initially every 2-8 hours until moisture level improves, then just apply once every 12-24 hours.

After using the lotion for a week following the directions the best that I could, I can tell a remarkable difference in my elbows. They have almost completely smoothed out, and the rough appearance of the skin has improved greatly!

My mom has been trying the lotion out with me as well, because her hands get severly chapped and dry from washing dishes and doing house work. She has noticed a huge improvement in her skin! It has taken the redness and puffiness out of her hands, leaving them soft and smooth.

This lotion can be bought on the Skin MD Natural website. The link is... www.skinmdnatural.com or you can purchase the lotion at certain stores in your area, by using the store locator. The link is... http://www.skinmdnatural.com/store-locator.html

The lotion is $18 for a 4 oz bottle, and that does seem expensive at first. However, after comparing this product to that of prescription lotion that my mother has bought in the past, and The Body Shop's Body Butters and lotions, plus many more, I have come to the conclusion that this lotion is worth the price.

Pros:
~Does not leave a greasy feel on your skin
~Leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth
~There is not much scent to the product, so people that are sensitive to smells will not have to worry
~It is made with natural ingredients
~The bottle is sleek and small enough to carry around in your bag or purse
~You can use the lotion all over: face, hands, and body (my mom uses it on her neck, and her neck is looking younger I believe!)
~A little goes a long way

Cons:
~The product is more on the expensive side for a lotion
~There are limited areas where you can purchase this lotion, but I believe they are working on expanding to more locations.

Overall, I rate this lotion at 4.75 out of 5 sugarcubes! I will be repurchasing this lotion once mine has run out, and I will be buying it for my mom as well!

Now, here is the exciting news for my followers! Skin MD Natural has been nice enough to sponsor a giveaway/contest on my blog!
