Easy and Quick DIY Lip Scrub

Hey everyone!

Are your lips as dry as mine with all this winter weather? Well look no further, because I have an easy and quick DIY lip scrub that will have your lips kissable in no time! Plus, you can find the two ingredients you need in your handbag and kitchen cupboard.

Ingredients:

~Inexpensive lip balm
~Granulated sugar

Directions:

~Place a 1/2 teaspoon of granulated sugar in a small dish.
~Coat your lips with a generous layer of lip balm.
~Wet your finger in order to pick up sugar, and gently rub your lips with the sugar.
~Rinse off with water, and repeat as necessary.
~Once lips have been exfoliated, apply lip balm and your favorite lipstick.

Tips:

~I suggest using this scrub over a sink, so you do not have to worry about cleaning up any mess.
~Use gentle circular motions when exfoliating your lips.

Hey everyone!

The gorgeous Lauren, from The Beauty Habit, and I decided to exchange holiday gifts this year! So after waiting for almost 3 weeks (thanks to the mail being so slow this time of year), I went to my front door, and found a gorgeous box filled to the brim with goodies! Totally worth the wait! ~The 17 Smokey Eye Palette. All you need for gorgeous smokey eyes in one portable kit! 

~Collection 2000 Shimmer Shades. I can't wait to use this for eye shadows, blush, and highlighter!

~Sleek Respect Palette. This palette has some stunning, bright colors in it! I can't wait to try them out!

~Two Sleek Pout Polishes in the shade Pride. Lauren sent one for me and one for my mom. They are both already in our purses!

~MUA Artiste Collection. Look at the gorgeousness of this palette! It has six eye shadows, two blushes, one bronzer, and one highlighter!

~Sleek Blush in Rose Gold. This blush is stunning, it's the perfect peachy/gold shade with tons of sparkle. You know I love my sparkle!

 ~Bourjois Chocolate Bronzer. It looks and smells like a chocolate bar, need I say more?

~MUA Blusher. This will be great to use when traveling, it's the perfect everyday shade!

~No. 7 Lip Liner in Nude. I don't have any lip liners, so this is perfect!

~Two MUA Lip Glosses.These are super pigmented! I even got compliments when wearing one today!

~Two 17 Lipsticks. Lauren known my love for 17 lipsticks, and these are amazing! Both are already in my purse ready for wear!

~17 Photo Flawless Skin Primer. I have super oily skin all year long. So I need all the help I can get to make my makeup last!

~Accessorize Translucent Pressed Powder. This packaging is so chic, and the powder looks fabulous!

~Barry M Waterproof Eye Liner. Barry M is always a brand that I love, they have great quality products!

~Collection 2000 Skyfall Mascara. What girl doesn't need a good mascara in cute packaging?

~MAC Limited Edition Marilyn Monroe Eye Shadow. I squealed over this eye shadow for a least 5 minutes! I love it!
 

~MUA Nail Constellation. This is so pretty, I can't wait to try this manicure out!

~Gosh Holographic Nail Polish. Words cannot explain how pretty this is in different lighting setups!

~17 Fast Finish Nail Polish.I've been on a dark purple/burgundy nail polish kick, so this is going to get a lot of use!

Christmas Swap with Rebecca!

Hey everyone!

This Christmas, me and the fantastic Rebecca from The Pigeon's Nest, decided to do a Christmas swap! I just received her package in the mail today, via special delivery, and it took me no time flat to open the box, and tear through the gorgeous wrapping paper! I was so happy with all the goodies Rebecca sent me, she even included a bunch of handmade items from her store!
