I don't know how Mally does it, but she always creates unique and fabulous products! Recently, Mally Beauty sent me their Evercolor Poreless Face Denfender to try out, and I must say this product really works! This balm is made to be blotted over your face after you applied your makeup, no more powdery finishes for this girl! All you do is apply your makeup as you normally do, and then swirl the sponge in the balm, and lightly pat it all over your face. Simple and easy. I find that by using this product, my makeup lasts all day without need for touchups. However, if you have super oily skin, like me, I suggest carrying some blotting sheets just in case.

I know you've heard me rave about how amazing L'Occitane products are, and this post will be no different! Forty thousand votes were submitted over the weekend and the vote count continues to grow exponentially. 

On June 7 a tally of public votes will decide the 20 contestants who will move on to the second challenge. After the second challenge, 12 contestants perform their third challenge and the 6 receiving the highest amount of votes will advance to the final event. The top six finalists will be flown to Los Angeles to compete in a live show in front of fans, peers, beauty influencers and celebrity judges in August. Contestants will be judged on their creativity, educational content, artistry and personality.

The 2012 NYX Face Awards received over 240,000 votes and a total of 27 million impressions.  This year the number of votes and total video views are trending to exceed more than three times the amount of last year’s impressions.

I have been slowly adding more high end brands to my makeup collection, and one of my favorites is Lancome! Recently, I got sent these three gorgeous Eye Brightening All-In-One Shadow & Liner Palettes to try out and review for you!

These palettes are simply stunning. I love their color combinations, mixture of textures, and that they include everything I need for quick and easy eye looks day or night! I find that the shadows last on me for a good 4 hours before creasing; however, if I use a base, I can get all day wear from them. Beach-Inspired Hair‏

Hey everyone!

We all want those sexy beach waves for summer. So, now that there is a bit of heat and humidity in the air, here is a step-by-step to create the ultimate beachy-inspired summer hair,  while working with your natural texture:

~Step One: Starting on damp hair, apply an argan oil from root to tip. Try U LUXURY Argan Oil ($47.95). 

~Step Two: Next, either let hair air-dry, or use a cool setting on your blow dryer to speed along the process. Once hair is about 95% dry, spritz a Volumizing spray all over to create added texture. Try UNITE Boosta Spray ($26.25). 

~Step Three: To complete this look, take a curling iron to smooth out random sections of hair. Alternate curling from the front and the back for a piecier look.
