Amika True Tattoo Ceramic Styler Review

Hey everyone!

This is a review on Amika’s True Tattoo Ceramic Styler!

Welcome to the world of Amika. We believe in the beauty of the everyday. Life is too short to spend it sweating in front of the mirror. The Amika ceramic styler allows you to quickly and easily create professional quality hairstyles while leaving your hair healthy, silky-smooth, hydrated and in place all day or night.

The styler features 100% ceramic plates. Ceramic radiates a different type of heat called far–infrared heat. Far–infrared heat is much gentler on the hair, preserving moisture in the hair shaft and protecting the hair cuticle from damage. Ceramic is also the ideal heat conductor and maintains even temperature.

The result is faster and more effective styling but without the damage of conventional heat styling tools. The floating plates adjust as you style which allows you to go beyond straightening and create wavy and curly styles. The floating plates create a smoother styling process so that there is no tugging or breaking.

My Amika True Tattoo Ceramic Styler is the best flat iron that I have owned to date! The heavy duty ceramic plates heat up super-fast to lock in natural oils, which makes styling a breeze, creating the illusion of salon perfect hair! That my friend is priceless!

Specifications:

~140 – 410 °F adjustable
~Time saver, ready to use in 10 seconds
~Unique floating plate design means no pulling, tugging, or unsightly creases.
~Professional straight, curly, or wavy styles at your fingertips

Adjust Temperature Based on Hair type:

~For bleached, fragile, damaged and fine hair, the lower setting is advised.
~For normal hair and regular use, a middle range temperature is recommended.
~For coarse, thick, and resistant hair in healthy condition, maximum heat on the high setting is used to save time and effort.

Styling Tips from Amika:

Straight Style
1. Run a comb through a small section of hair (about 1-2 inches), separating the hair strands. Remember, the 1.5 inch ceramic styler is for use on dry hair only.

2. Starting as close as possible to your scalp, place the combed section of hair in between the ceramic plates of your Amika ceramic styler. Close the styler with a gentle grip.

3. Slowly and carefully pull the styler away from your scalp, allowing your hair to glide through the ceramic plates. Because of the floating plates design you should not feel any pulling or tugging.

4. Repeat the above steps for all of your hair, section by section, until you are finished.

Curly Style
Insert a 2 inch section of hair between the plates. Gently squeeze handle together and glide styler to the ends; then while hair is still between the plates, wind hair around the plates. Hold a moment and release. The hair will bounce into a curl.

Flip Style
Insert a 2 inch section of hair between the plates, then squeeze the handle gently and glide slowly beginning at the roots. When you reach the section that you would like to flip out, simply flip out the styler.

This product retails for $145.00!

XoXo,
